Mr. Matías Abergo is the President of Arboreal and current CEO of Enkel Group since 2016. He has more than 16 years of experience leading business in various areas. Enkel has been particularly successful in recent years as one of the first timber construction developers in the region.
Mr. Mark Crandall co-founded Morgan Stanley’s commodity trading business in 1984. Subsequently he was the head of Glencore’s oil trading business, and then was a founder of Trafigura which has now become one of the largest physical commodity traders in the world with over €100 billion in revenues.
Upon leaving Trafigura in 2005, Mr. Crandall started investing his own personal funds in renewable energy development through PostScriptum Ventures.
In 2007 he officially formed CWP where he currently serves as the Chairman and Member of the Executive Board.
Mr. Miguel Sarries studied agricultural engineering at the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay (UDELAR) and studied several training courses in places such as Canadá, Perú, The Netherlands and Israel. He obtained his PhD from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
During his long career, he held different positions in the agricultural sector. He worked for the City Council of Tacuarembó and then at Huertas Co, for more than 25 years. As main hobbies, he likes to travel and play sports such as soccer and tennis, etc.
Mr. Pablo Freyer graduated as a public accountant from the Universidad de la República del Uruguay (UDELAR). He has an MBA and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCUDAL). He also carried out the “Capstone Program for the optimization of managerial skills” at the INCAE Business School in Costa Rica. He is an associate professor in finance in the master’s degree programs at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
He has worked as Financial Manager in prestigious national and multinational companies, highlighting a trajectory of more than 25 years in the agro-industrial, industrial and commercial fields.
